These shopping policies are applicable to all the goods sold on the Islamic Illumination Art Store, which includes: prints, watercolour paints, artwork, stationary and home decor. (For workshop policies, please scroll down)

Shopping Policies for Physical Goods:

Payment Options:

  • Most major visas and credit cards

Shipping Options:

Please note, any customs required will be paid by the receiver.

UK Shipping:

  • Express: Royal Mail Signed (1-2 business days) £5 (then £1 extra for every additional item).

European Union Shipping:

  • Standard: Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed (7-14 business days) - It might take up to one month sometimes.
    £6 (then £1.50 extra for every additional item).

  • Express: UPS (3-7 business days) £14.50 (then £2.50 extra for every additional item)

  • The EU countries are:

    Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

International (Rest of the world)

  • Standard: Tracked and Signed Royal Mail (7-14 business days) - It might take up to one month sometimes. £12 (then £2 extra for every additional item).

  • Express: UPS or DHL (5-9 business days) - £22 (then £2 extra for every additional item).

    • UPS Zone: USA, Canada, Australia and the rest of the world.

    • DHL Zone: Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and the rest of the Arab World.

Order Corrections or Cancelations

  • Please email me via the contact page as soon as you notice a mistake in address to correct it before shipping. If the correction is not made and it is sent to the wrong address, you will have to wait until it has been returned to me and additional shipping costs will apply.

  • If order has not been shipped, then you have 24hrs to cancel it.

Customs and Taxes:

Each country is different, but a lot of countries require customs and extra taxes when the item value is above a certain amount. This extra payment is your responsibility and it will be usually requested before an item is delivered. This is a different fee and this is not the shipping fee. We do not get any money from this. This fee goes directly to your country’s government.

If an item is returned to us:

Unfortunately, some items get returned to us especially if you are using the standard mail service and this can be due to two main reasons:

  • A wrong address.

  • The failure to pick up an item after attempting delivery.

Therefore, we will contact you as soon as we get an item returned (make sure your email is correct!) to arrange an alternative delivery and a new shipping fee will have to be paid. We will send you a PayPal request in that case.

If we do not hear back from you in seven working days, then you forfeit your right to a new delivery or a refund.

Refunds:

You are entitled to a full refund within 14 days of receiving your goods (prints, art, paints, etc). You will have 14 days to return the unused goods once you notify me via the contact page and you will receive your refund within 14 days of me receiving the goods.

Please note, you will have to pay for your own packaging and shipping of the returned item. Insurance of the item’s cost and a proof of shipping are needed.

Policies for In-person Workshops:

  • 14 days before the workshop:
    You can either request a full refund by sending an email to esra(at)islamicillumination.com
    Or transfer to an equivalent workshop on an alternative date (if available)

  • Less than 7 days before the workshop:
    Unfortunately no refund or transfer will be available. I understand that unforeseen circumstances may occur. In that case please consider sending along a friend to take your place. I would need their name and contact details prior to the workshop to be sent to: esra(at)islamicillumination.com

Policies for Online Workshops:

  • No transfers or refunds are accepted since your access is granted right away. Please read everything carefully and make sure everything is as you expect before purchase.
